Investigation of Air Pollution Sources

(1) Object of Investigation and Analysis of Air Pollution Sources

The objects and contents of pollution source investigation should comply with the corresponding evaluation level regulations. Focus on whether the current monitoring values can reflect changes in the evaluation scope of pollution sources, such as investigations that include all replaced pollution sources, as well as other ongoing projects related to the discharge of major pollutants in the evaluation area, and proposed projects with approved environmental impact assessment documents.

For first and second level evaluation projects, all pollution sources of the project should be investigated and analyzed (including new and old pollution sources for renovation and expansion projects), other ongoing projects related to project emissions within the evaluation scope, and undeveloped projects with approved environmental impact assessment documents. If there are regional alternative solutions, all proposed alternative pollution sources within the evaluation scope should also be investigated. For third level evaluation projects, only the pollution sources of the project can be investigated and analyzed.
